The OSDU Board of Directors http://www.osdu.on.ca/index.php?id=52&newsid=130 2010-04-07 20:00:44 On March 26-28 we held our annual Provincial Championship in Ottawa.  Eighty-eight English debaters, 12 French debaters, and 12 bilingual debaters participated in an exciting weekend of debate, discussion, and activities in the capital.  Thank you to the host, Margo Pinault, to Carleton Debate for hosting us on Saturday, and to everyone who helped make the weekend such a big success. On Friday night we were honoured to have Dr. Carolyn Bennett, MP (St. Paul's) address us on the topic of the prepared resolution, women in parliament.  She wrote about the event on her blog which you can read here: http://www.carolynbennett.ca/whatsNewPosting.cfm?ID=2736. This year Ontario is sending eight teams to the National Championship in Victoria, BC (April 24-25).  Congratulations and good luck to our representatives: Tim Radcliffe and Josh Lockwood (St .
