Join OSDU

Before proceeding to the registration form please go through the steps outlined below. By going through these steps you will be able to proceed through the registration process much faster. If you have any questions please contact the Membership Coordinator (mishaabarbanel@gmail.com) before proceeding.

Step 1: Identify in which categories of debating your school would like to participate.

OSDU currently offers debating in English, French, and Bilingual categories. Your school may participate in as few or as many categories as it would like. By choosing to participate in these categories you are indicating your intention to send debaters to regional competitions in said categories. The registration fee of $100.00 will not change regardless of the number of categories in which you register.

Step 2: Identify the region(s) to which your school belongs.

OSDU has divided the map of Ontario into regions in order to hold regional qualifiers for the Provincial Championships. OSDU has different regional boundaries for English and French/Bilingual Debating. Below you will find links to two maps to facilitate in identifying your region(s). These regional boundaries are simply guidelines, and do not necessarily represent debate activity in the entire region. If you believe your school would be better served by another region please contact the appropriate regional coordinator(s).
